Health Consultation
A free (15 minutes approx.) health consultation will be provided at your first appointment. This is to ensure the treatment you have chosen is safe and suitable for you. If you have a health issue and are unsure whether massage is an appropriate treatment, please contact us in advance of making an appointment to discuss this.
Appointment Location & Travel Costs
We do not apply any mileage costs for appointments attended within a 10 mile radius of Aberdeen. Where your location is beyond this, we are happy to visit you up to a 20 mile radius, including Ellon, Inverurie & Stonehaven. Where your location is beyond 10 miles from Aberdeen, 45p per mile mileage costs will be charged. In calculating mileage, 'google maps' distances are applied and distances are taken from Union Street, Aberdeen.
Under 16's
Under 16's will require signed parental / guardian consent in advance of treatment. Parental/ guardian attendance is required during all under 16's appointments.
Payments
All payments are required in cash at the time of your appointment unless you have pre-paid in advance (i.e. gift certificate or via paypal). Due to being a mobile service we are not able to accept cheque or card payments. Please note, due to Paypal's administrative costs, all payments made via Paypal will incur a £2.50 surcharge which will be payable at the time of the transaction.
Cancellations
We require a minimum of 24 hours notice if you intend to cancel an appointment. Failure to provide 24 hours notice will result in a cancellation fee of 50% if your appointment is not subsequently re-booked by somebody else. Full payment will be required on cancellations of less than 12 hours.
Gift certificates
Once purchased, gift certificates are non-refundable. They cannot be exchanged for cash value. If their value is not used in full, no cash reimbursement will be made. They cannot be used beyond their expiry date.
Where discounts apply, these will be provided in respect of the recipient of the treatment and not the purchaser of the gift certificate (unless these are one and the same)! We reserve the right to cancel or update our discounts and/or treatments at any time. Any discounts which do apply, will be in respect of those advertised at the time the appointment is made and will not the date the voucher was purchased.
Products Ethos
The massage products we use have not been tested on animals. They are parabens and synthetic free. We use only pure essential oils in our products and not (less expensive) 'fragranced' oils.
